After eating lunch at Connal's in Upland, we walked over to the Goodwill store just to browse. I ended up getting three short-sleeve shirts for about $11. Not bad. Had I bought these shirts at Macy's, I probably would have spent around $40-$50.

One thing that annoys me is when people add salt to their food before tasting it. Why?! What if it was perfectly seasoned, and now you've ruined it by adding more salt than necessary? I have no problem with adding more salt, just take a couple of bites first before you decide to cover your food with salt.

I signed up for Napster's $15 plan. For this I get 3 months of all-you-can-eat streaming music, and 15 mp3 downloads.

I've started jogging again. A coworker and I decide to see who can get down to 160lbs first. He's currently at 174 and I'm at 179. Whoever wins, gets a $25 gift card, which we each got for christmas from the company.
I'm excited to be in this competition because I can be obsessively competitive.
When I first started working here in mid 2007 I believe I weighed around 165. But countless hours of sitting in front of a computer has taken its toll on me.

the flood
This morning when I walked into the restroom, my feet were greeted by a puddle of ice-cold toilet water. Jamie had unintentionally plugged the toilet the night before, so all night long the bowl filled up until it flooded the bathroom floor. Luckily, I recently purchased a wet/dry vac and was able to eliminate the water within ten minutes. There was about 5 gallons of water on the floor.
